Due to heavy demand (and, of course, Capella University's ongoing McCarthyism designed for the sole purpose of keeping their illegal acts hidden from public view), Capella Crimes: The Prelude - Exposing the Ongoing Unethical Practices of For-Profit Capella University, Their Employees, & Dishonest Attorneys, has been temporarily removed from our offerings. We remain adamant that there is absolutely nothing contained in this fine tome of literary scholarship that is not protected information and we look forward to making it available again in the very near future. In case you're looking for some other fine books on topics related to the type of unethical conduct you can expect from Capella University and their dishonest attorneys, we would like to suggest a few books to enjoy:
1984 by George Orwell
Like Capella University, "Orwell's classic continues to deliver its horrible vision of totalitarian society. Once considered futuristic, it now conjures fear because of how closely it fits the reality of contemporary times." (AudioFile review found on Amazon.com)

Fahrenheit 451: A Novel by Ray Bradbury
Amazon's editorial review states, "in Fahrenheit 451, Ray Bradbury's classic, frightening vision of the future, firemen don't put out fires--they start them in order to burn books. Bradbury's vividly painted society holds up the appearance of happiness as the highest goal--a place where trivial information is good, and knowledge and ideas are bad. "
Somehow, Amazon's review seems to describe the actions of Capella University and their shysters.

The Life and Times of Joe McCarthy
As one of Capella's attorney's, H. Christian L'Orange's (from the law firm of Drinker Biddle & Reath) apparent heroes, (as both his actions, as well as those of his client, certainly reveal), might be Joseph McCarthy. Any simpleton will recognize that McCarthy, is widely considered as one of the most evil politicians this country has ever seen. Just about any book about this hatemonger will provide a great deal of insight into the abusive and illegal practices of Capella University.
We can't help but note that there are some amazing similarities between Joseph McCarthy and both Michael Offerman (Capella's vice chairman, external university initiatives) and Chris L'Orange!
- Both McCarthy and Offerman are from Wisconsin (Hmmm...!)
- McCarthy and L'Orange were/are "lawyers." McCarthy who also a judge that,
""The Wisconsin Supreme Court criticized . . . for destroying a court record in 1941. McCarthy had removed one page from a court transcript to hide his comment that a trial in the Quaker Dairy case was a "waste of the court's time." The Department of Agriculture had brought suit against the Quaker Dairy Company for undercutting competition."
Now isn't that interesting?
- McCarthy and L'Orange have both spent a lot of time in the Solomon Islands. According to information found on "My History Museum's" web site, McCarthy,"McCarthy spent sixteen months in the Solomon Islands." Like his soul mate, L'Orange has also spent a lot of time in the Solomon Islands, although unlike McCarthy, L'Orange was there taking extravagant vacations (where he tosses pencils at the local urchins).
While L'Orange literally ridicules people (in court, no less) for taking a single trip to Ensenada, Mexico (which he mockingly referred to as "the Mexican Riviera" [emphasis not added]), he takes extraordinary extravagant trips around the globe. The Oakland Times reported (February 17, 2008) that,
". . .L'Orange has done numerous [scuba] dive trips to Thailand, Guadalcanal, the Galapagos, New Guinea and other remote sites. [In addition to] each of his four trips to the Solomon Islands."
- Both McCarthy and L'Orange also seem to have an affinity for beautiful Santa Ana, California: McCarthy to get an award and L'Orange to visit court houses.
Fascinating, to say the least!
